The purpose of the ‘artists in focus’ section is to highlight one or more artists, and/or a recent and exceptional work from one of them, by providing short essays that give more information about the person or the work.

The Gold Leaf web site is listed by the American Center in Rangoon as a reference for contemporary Myanmar art.  Hence, these short essays of an artist’s work will serve an educational purpose, as well as helping our customers to better understand the importance of a work that they may desire to purchase.
